We started the WCS Bootcamps back in 2013 and were on a mission to bring the very best teachers from far and wide to offer quality WCS instruction at an affordable price. We are now well known for bringing the best teachers from Europe and the UK - and we won't disappoint this time, we have two sets of amazing teachers lined up for you again (read more about them below).
Our venue is The Kegworth Hotel, just off junction 24 of the M1, so it has very easy access from the M1, A50 and A453 ideally placed close to the M1. We have the hotel exclusively for our event.
The workshops will aim to cover all skill levels from the inexperienced to the more advanced. This makes Bootcamp Xtra the perfect weekend to improve your dancing.
No matter what level you come in at, you're sure to enjoy this fun weekend of social dancing, workshops and hints and tips from our teachers. It's a weekend to develop your WCS with the emphasis on and fun and enjoyment, designed to build your confidence, improve your dancing and provide a lovely, relaxed place to do it in.
Natively from Czech Republic & Reunion Island, Jakub and Em took their first steps into the dance world at the age of 16 and 12, both starting with Ballroom Dancing (Latin, Standard & line-dancing). They were both hooked since they discovered West Coast Swing, and were especially drawn to the creativity, musicality, and freedom within the dance.
Their dance world is shaped around multiple influences such as urban dances, contemporary, modern, zouk or contact improvisation; both being eager to learn and assimilate new tools from other dance forms to expand their library of movement, expression and ways to connect.
J’Em story began in June 2016, as they were hired together by pure chance in a styling workshop run by Adam and Rita in Budapest. They have been traveling the world together ever since, flying from country to country to share their passion for dancing.
After 3 consecutive years being part of the top 10 finalists at the US Open Swing Dance Championships, they just placed 4th in the Classic Division in November 2019.
Ekow started dancing Salsa in his teens, he moved on to ballroom and street dance a few years later.
He has been dancing West Coast Swing for over a decade now and within this time he has developed his skills in other styles including Zouk. Combining his experience enabled him to create his own unique style on the dance scene. Ekow is currently a West Coast Swing All-Star and Judge and has won numerous Modern Jive titles over the years.
Ekow loves to teach and share his knowledge and passion for dance. Together with his wife Tash they recently opened Midtown Dance, in the West Midlands, offering monthly freestyles in WCS, Zouk and Modern Jive.

In the heart of the East Midlands, two minutes from the M1 Junction 24, five minutes from the international East Midlands Airport, ten minutes from the East Midlands Parkway mainline Railway station – Kegworth Hotel is well connected. Within 20 minutes of Nottingham, Derby, Loughborough and Leicester.
All prices are per person for 2 nights hotel accommodation, breakfast Saturday and Sunday, Dinner Friday and Saturday night, classes and social dancing. A £50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. For bookings made 12 weeks OR less before the event date, full payment is required.
