Jive Addiction and Serene Dance join forces to bring you two more West Coast Swing workshop before Serene Sunday, in Radcliffe on Trent.
Two West Coast Swing Workshops Sunday 09 July
We are excited to announce two West Coast Swing Workshops with the amazing Ekow and Tash. These workshops are designed for dancers from beginners to improver/intermediates. Join us for an afternoon of fun, learning and then dancing at Serene Sunday.
During the workshop, Ekow and Tash will cover a range of topics such as footwork, body movement, connection, musicality and more. You will have plenty of opportunities to practice these techniques.
After the workshops, Serene Sunday will start for an afternoon of social dancing. This is a great opportunity to put your new skills into practice, meet new people and have a blast on the dance floor.

12.30-2.30pm ONLY £20 (Suitable for those who are already confident with the Fundamentals)
2.45-3.45pm ONLY £10 (Suitable for complete Beginners)

Matt and Helen will be on the decks playing all your favourite chilled tunes.
Tea, Coffee and soft drinks and water will be available free of charge. You may wish to bring snacks or a packed lunch. There is a Co-op opposite the venue which remains open until 10pm.
This workshop will offer a unique opportunity to experience the highest level of instruction with a friendly and supportive WCS teacher.
We want EVERYONE to enjoy and get the most out of the workshop and we therefore kindly ask that you do not try to 'help' others in the workshop, should you believe they're not 'getting it'. Please leave all tuition to the teacher. Be kind, be supportive.
Ekow & Tash OduroEkow started dancing Salsa in his teens, he moved on to ballroom and street dance a few years later.
He has been dancing West Coast Swing for over a decade now and within this time he has developed his skills in other styles including Zouk. Combining his experience enabled him to create his own unique style on the dance scene. Ekow is currently a West Coast Swing All-Star and Judge and has won numerous Modern Jive titles over the years.
Ekow loves to teach and share his knowledge and passion for dance. Together with his wife Tash they have a friendly approachable style - perfect for helpiing you grasp both the technical aspects of the dance as well as enjoying the learning journey while encouraging you to add in your own style and expressive movements.
